Chris Lilley is back at work on a new series and is bringing with him a familiar face from a previous series.

Lilley made the announcement via social media (Twitter and Facebook) that at least one character from either We Can Be Heroes, Summer Heights High or Angry Boys would be making an appearance and encouraged fans to vote on whom they think will be coming back.  (So far three characters from Summer Heights High, Lilley’s more popular outing, are sitting in top three spots – Jonah, Mr. G and Ja’mie)

Speaking to Digital Spy about his new show last year, Lilley said: “I’m well under way with a new project and I’m keeping it a bit of a secret and under wraps for now. It’s along the same lines as my other shows, it’s a mockumentary style and I’ll play the characters.

“I want to keep as much of the show as possible a secret, but if you’ve loved my last three shows, this is part four.”  Word has it though that Lilley was spied filming in a high school dressed as Ja’mie King!

Lilley’s new series is expected to air for ABC later this year.
