Lena Dunham’s hit series GIRLS will be back on US screens with a double hitter episode special on Jan 12th to kick off the shows third season on HBO – with a fast track to Showcase in Australia on Jan 13th @ 7:30pm.

With how dark and twisty season two was (remember the whole Q-Tip and OCD scenario?), it’s actually great to see in the new trailer below, Hannah and her friends all happy and bouncy and things seem to take a turn for the best for everyone (but we all know this can’t last long!) and if you look closely, you’ll see Elijah (Andrew Rannells) is back too!

Girls kicks off season 3 on Jan 12th on HBO in the US and Monday Jan 13th on Showcase in Australia.
