90’s Pop Culture is set to explode in Chicago in November when REwind Con begins bringing with it a bevy of your favorite actors, soap stars and musical acts culminating in one big massive 3 day 90’s love fest that has my head wanting to burst with all the 90’s awesomeness it has to offer.
From REwind Con’s website: “REwind Con’s mission is to provide the fans of television, movies and music, from the 80’s, 90’s and on, a new and innovative way to meet and hangout with the people they grew up loving.
Whether your favorite movie was “90210” or “Growing Pains”, we want to create the ultimate convention where people can turn back the clock and RE-live some of those awesome moments. The movies, TV shows, celebrities and games of the early 80’s and 90’s will always have a special place in all our hearts, and we want to experience that again, like the very first time.
If you’re looking for a new fan driven convention that honors the people that paved the way for all the new talent today, then REwind Con is definitely for you!”
Looking at the line-up of stars currently slated to attend, it’s literally like this con was made for me…you know….if I wasn’t located here in Australia and could go! There’s almost the entire principal cast of Beverly Hills 90210 (Jason Priestly, Luke Perry, Jennie Garth, Tori Spelling, Gabrielle Carteris, Christine Elise and Vincent Young) and Melrose Place’s Thomas Calabro, Doug Savant and Patrick Muldoon. Alan Thicke, Jeremy Miller and Tracey Gold of Growing Pains fame along with Sweet Valley High’s Brittany and Cynthia Daniels will be joined by Days of Our Lives’ Melissa Reeves along with hubby and The Young and Restless star Scott Reeves.
That list BTW doesn’t even scratch the surface of the entire list – check it out here!
General admission tickets start at $57 (for a Saturday or Sunday ticket) and cover convention entrance along with admission to the Friday night ‘Pre-Con Prom & Karaoke Party’ and access to all panels – unless specified as “Private with VIP ticket only”.
