Back in early December 2014, fashion doll company Integrity Toys announced a new line of dolls based off the characters within the American Horror Story Coven series.  Cut to almost two years later and finally Integrity Toys have come up with the goods ready for pre-order, but….are we done and dusted with Coven?

Since Coven’s airing, AHS has produced three further series – Freak Show, Hotel and the currently airing Roanoke and the limited amount of news and updates about this line from Integrity has possibly made fans a little indifferent about this reveal.

That said, the reveal by Integrity Toys showcases six pretty damn impressive figures for the new line featuring Jessica Lange’s Fiona Goode, Angela Bassett’s Marie Laveau, Evan Peter’s Kyle Spencer, Emma Robert’s Madison Montgomery, Frances Conroy’s Myrtle Snow and Taissa Farmiga’s Zoe Benson.  Sad to say, no swamp witch Misty Day (played by Lily Rabe).

All 6 dolls are on the FR2013 articulated body with brand new sculpts in the likeness of their characters (check out how close they got with Evan Peters!), rooted hair, applied eyelashes and fabric outfits featured within the show.

All dolls are now available for pre-order with the Marie Laveau doll set for release first in December this year and are priced around the US$130 mark.

Jessica Lange and American Horror Story Returning for Season 4

With American Horror Story: Coven about to wrap up it’s phenomenal season (seriously, this should have been made into a regular series!) co-creator Ryan Murphy (Glee) has let loose on some details of what to expect for the show’s fourth season.

First up, Jessica Lange will be back!  It was noted late last year that Coven would be her last with the franchise but Murphy confirmed that Lange will indeed be back along with the news that Angela Bassett and Kathy Bates (both whom are new comers to the AHS series)  have been approached to return too.

Keep an eye out for little hints sprinkled about the final few episodes of Coven that will reference to where season 4 will be going.  Says Murphy “It’s set in 1950, if you look historically what happened in the year 1950, there’s some more clues in that year. It’s a period piece. We try and do the opposite of what we’ve done before. Jessica Lange has already started practicing her German accent so I’m very excited!”

The 1950’s setting and German accent has fans speculating that series four will take place around the Cold War which took place right after World War II and lasted for most of the 20th century.

This season of AHS has proved to be the most popular yet, pulling in just under 8 million American viewers weekly (up 83% in total viewers over season 2!)

AHS: Coven airs Monday nights on Channel 11.

Stevie Nicks Casts a Spell on American Horror Story: Coven

Stevie Nicks will appear on American Horror Story: Coven

Get out your tambourines, your shawls and beads because Fleetwood Mac lead singer Stevie Nicks has been confirmed to guest star on American Horror Story: Coven!

Coven co-creator Ryan Murphy tweeted “Guess who’s visiting the coven?  The legendary Stevie Nicks!”

While no further details were revealed, the show has been referencing Nicks quite regularly with character Misty Day, played by Lily Rabe, obsessed with the singer and the classic song ‘Rhiannon’ in which she cites as being the inspiration for her witchy ways.

It’s not the first time a character on screen has been influenced by the ways of the legendary singer.  Back in 2001, an indie movie called Gypsy 83 saw Sara Rue as a young outcast obsessed with Nicks and had a dream to one day attend the ‘Night of 1000 Stevies’ in New York.

American Horror Story: Coven, airs Monday Nights, 9:30pm on 11.
