Even though five of the next ten episodes have been filmed for the eleventh season of The X-Files, the hugely anticipated trailer has been dropped at New York ComicCon bringing with it a look at the return of a long time series favorite and more information on Scully and Mulder’s ever elusive son William.
And speaking of William, during the trailer reveal panel at NYCC where Gillian Anderson, David Duchovny, Mitch Pileggi and series creator Chris Carter appeared, Carter said that they’d “Explore that relationship, the father-son-mother relationship” and “you’ll see more of William than you’ve seen in a long time.”
The trailer also revealed a possibly-not-so-dead Langley (from the Smoking Gunmen) though Carter was quick to only say that “Langley is in the show this season.”
